Thomas Kling was a German writer who was born in Bingen in 1957 and died in Dormagen in 2005. He lived in Dusseldorf, Cologne, Vienna and Finland. Numerous scholarships and awards for his collections of poetry, which made him one of the important younger poets in Germany.
