Hannes Strobl is a bass player and composer, born in 1966, who lives in Berlin. The starting point for his music is the sound-based potential of the electric bass. Focus of his work on the instrument as well as his compositional work in recent years, has been in particular in the forms of musical expression against the background of the urban world of sounds. Sam Auinger and Hannes Strobl work together as a duo under the name TAMTAMCLUB.
